Fresh Faces |

In Early May we held the second
MPO of 2010 for our newest
candidates. Roxie and Tom are
heavily involved in this step of
training and evaluation. This
class had already completed
their
10 week internship as a
requirement from their missions
coursework at Christ for the
Nations. Now equipped and ready,
these brand new GTN missionaries
will be partnered with some of
our many seasoned ones in an
apprenticeship,
completing the preparation
process.

Measurably
changed, Troupe returned for
Spring Break in April. Closing
in on 5'9", he had acquired four
more inches since his start as a
freshman in High School. Now
just nine months from driving
cars, he flew his first airplane
with the assistance of a good
friend. Troupe will spend his
summer with us here in Florida.
We expect that a job will be
where he spends much of his
time. Please pray that he finds
a good one.

Dear Friends,
Absolutely ridiculous!! We promised
to communicate with all those who
have committed to pray for us....
and then we get too busy to follow
through. This simply shows we are
not all together as dependent on God
as we encourage others to be. Thank
you for your gracious patience with
us. This is more of Tom's habit than
Roxie's to be sure. Seeing as Roxie
is "with child", we expect that this
tendency will vanish soon. Please
pray as we prepare for whatever this
new addition will mean for us. Read
on for people, places, and projects
the Lord has us poured into. |

In June 2010, Go To Nations will
host a special reunion
where we will recognize over 180
field leaders, missionaries, and
their families for their sacrifice
and commitment to the Great
Commission. We will all come
together
at the Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort in
Daytona Beach. Excluding travel
costs, all expenses for the
missionaries will be covered by Go
To Nations. This is our once in a
decade opportunity to give back to
the ones who have given so much of
themselves to God.

Tom was honored to be the Prayer
Coordinator for the
First Coast Global Day of Prayer.
This was the first time this
world-wide prayer event had come to
Jacksonville. Many hours were spent
organizing and recruiting to realize
the ten days of 24 hours a day
repentance and preparation prayer.
This 240 hour commitment was
completely covered by the believers
of Northeast Florida. Part of the
result came in the announcement that
Jacksonville Florida will be the
international broadcast location for
the 2011 Global Day of Prayer.
Indeed, greater things are yet to
come for this city. You haven't
heard of the
Global Day of Prayer? Click on
the blue link for the history of
this movement that now unites in
prayer, over 400 million believers
in Jesus on one day.

When Jesus sent out the 70
disciples, He told them to do four
things for the people and then he
would come to that town. He said to
bless them, then fellowship with
them, then minister to them, and
finally to declare to them the
presence of the Kingdom of God. The
believers in Jacksonville are doing
just that. By adopting each of the
nearly 10,000 streets in this city
(Jacksonville is geographically the
largest U.S. city) and committing to
regularly prayer-walk, we are
actually doing these four things
Jesus instructed His disciples to
do. Tom and Roxie spearhead the
communication and coordination of
this movement of God in Northeast
Florida. With 206 neighborhood
captains to measure, monitor and
motivate....we believe that every
street in our city will be covered
in prayer, and the spiritual
atmosphere will be truly transformed
by God's resulting response. |

Thank you for your interest,
your prayers, and your
participation in the work God is
doing both in and through us as
His servants, and His front line
soldiers.
Sincerely,
Tom and Roxie McLeod
