Fifth grade is almost over and summer is almost here.  Here are my plans for the summer.  First I will pack and then hopefully Caroline and Aunt Sister can pick me up at the air port In Dallas.  That way I will be able to see them at that time.  Then the next week I will go to Mommy’s house and say hi to all of them.  Tatum and I will play and hopefully get along well.  I will see Valerie and have fun with her.  With the whole family I might go to Six flags and maybe go go-karting.  I will ride my skateboard and play with my Hummer.  I might be able to see Aunt sister and Caroline again and then pack up and go back to Florida.

Hi, I am Troupe’s new skate board.

I like it best when Troupe is pushing me at full speed so that I can feel the wind flowing through my maple wood.  I am already dirty but I thing Troupe values me as one of his best toys or as I would say, “Speed Machine!”  The only thing I dislike is the rough pavement on my smooth bone wheels.  And it makes my bearings rattle.  I am still trying my best to not let Troupe fall off me when going down the ramp but I can’t always be Velcro.  Well anyway I hope I don’t get too exited or I’ll catch on fire.  Every night I am bored just lying like a board as Troupe gets in his nice soft bed to sleep in.  Do I value Troupe highly?  That is unknown.

Here are some things that I want to see when we go to Washington D.C.  I want to see the White House and see which room the President works in.  I want to see the money tunnel in the Mint because I love money.  I want to see the Lincoln monument and the river.  I want to see the Capitol building to see where the congress work and where it is seen best from.  I want to see the national monuments and to stand next to them.  I want to go on my first tour bus and see a lot more on it.  Those are the things I want to see in Washington D.C. I hope we get to go soon!

Today I will tell you how to replace an air filter in the car or truck.  First you have to get the right filter.  Next you find the hood release and pop the hood.  If you have an old car you might have to pop the hood and then do another latch to hold the hood up.  Hold the hood up and put the stand up to hold it up.  Don’t let it smash down.  You also need two hands to do this.  Unlatch you filter cover and unplug whatever you have to but just remember which tube went where.  Take your old filter out watching carefully how it was already in.  Put your new filter in the same way your old one was.  Put your cover back on and latch it.  Make sure your tubes are put back in the correct place and that they are secure.  Put your hood back down the same way you put it up and make sure it is secure and all the way on.  If you had any tools be sure to put them away and throw any trash away.  You now have a new filter and know how to do it in the future.

Here are some reasons why climbing trees is so fun.  One, because you can see for a long distance if you get to the top.  There is almost always another place to go.  There are sometimes comfortable chairs on one branch and walking space on the base and a climbing rope on the other branch.  There are hat hooks and sometimes you can use a plastic bag as an air sock or whatever they are called.  We have a tree like that here.  That tree with all those things is of course, my favorite tree.
That is why I like climbing trees.

I will tell you all now what I want the future H10 Hummer to look like.  I would like to be the one to design it.  I want it to have wheels that are shaped like a propeller and you will know why later.  I want it to have 6 wheels, 4 in the back and 2 in the front.  The ones in the back will be in line and not side by side.  It will be able to go in water like a boat does.  All the wheels will turn backwards and they will spin and push itself forward.  The rear wheels will turn it by turning like a rudder.  It will also hover by using thruster packs to hover a little bit and then it’s wheels will again turn to face down and they will spin and make it hover even more.  Thruster packs will make it turn as well.  I will have a regular sized trunk and it will be regular sized because the hybrid battery will be there.  It will have a gas tank as well.  The whole top of it will be solar panels that recharge the battery.  If the battery goes dead and it is dark, the gas and engine will kick in and make the car run a little while longer while it gets brighter for the solar panels to recharge the battery back up.  That is what I want the H10 Hummer to do and look like.

I had a piano recital today and I am going to tell you about my songs.  A lot of people went before me and they sounded great.  They played their songs and then it was finally my turn.  I was kind of shy but my piano teacher was there to turn the page for me and that made me feel better.  I played "Snowflake Rag" and "Mount Kilimanjaro".  "Snowflake Rag" was there to make people happy and to move around and I enjoyed playing it too.  "Mount Kilimanjaro" was to make people start to feel happy but then like crying happy.  Everyone thought that I was outstanding with how I played my songs and they liked the mixture in both songs.  The "Snowflake Rag" was kind of like a jazz song with 4 beats.  And the other was smooth and emotional.  I hope that gave you a good taste of my songs.
