After a long summer over in Texas I flew home.  My flight was great.  I met one person on that flight but I forgot his name.  He was really nice.  I finally landed in Jacksonville, Florida where Daddy and Roxie picked me up.  We drove home and I unpacked.  I called Connor to tell him that I was back in town.  He invited me over to his house.  I went over there until 4:30 PM.  He then came over to our house and we played video games here.  We ate a fishy dinner and then Connor and I got ready to go to bed because he was spending the night.

Sunday, July 30, 2006
Connor and I woke up and ate breakfast.  We went to church and we had a good time.  It was going to be my last time in kids church because next Sunday I am going to the youth group.  I was super happy!  We came home and played some more video games.  Around 3:00 we went swimming until some dark clouds came over us.   We came back to the house and played some games until Connor had to go home.  After he left I played on my computer.  Daddy and I watched the first part of a Civil War Movie.  When it was over I started teaching Daddy how to play one of my games.  We finished that lesson at 11:00 PM.  We all went to bed after that.

August 1-8, 2006
I have been home a few days and I have done a lot of things.  Two Saturdays have gone by and at the end of each Saturday Daddy, Roxie, Connor, and I went to teach English to some people who speak Spanish.  It was not all that fun the first time but the second time we had a blast.  We have gone to Church twice and Connor came with us both times.  The Second time I was promoted to middle school church and it was so much fun.  When it was over we went to the big church for praise and worship.  All my friends were there and we talked a little.  At the end I talked to Ben, my old drum teacher and then to some other people.  We left after that.  Connor has already spent the night twice and we have played on my PS2 on my new game that I got on www.half.com.  It came like… on the 2 of August, I think.  It is really cool and entertaining.  I have been playing it a lot.  Connor brought his XBOX once and we played it for a very long time.  He has also taught me the new game www.Runscape.com and it is really fun.  Sometimes when we are both logged on he will give me useful stuff in the game that will sometimes help me get farther in the game.

Just recently, Daddy and I took the corvette to the corvette shop to get worked on a little.  It was really cool because there were some cool cars there.  There was this one car with a super nice and fast $14,000 engine and transmition.  The place is also kinda sad because you are seeing all these cars that were once good and now they are all torn up.  Some were in very bad accidents.  It’s just sad.  But some of it is cool.

One of the times Connor was here we went swimming for two hours.  We brought the dog and played all kinds of games.  Mainly we shot each other with water guns.  We threw balls to Luke in the water and he would jump really far out into the pool to get it.  Then Luke would swim back to the steps.  It is really neat.  We snorkeled a little bit and found this huge spider walking on the water.  When I tried to drown it it curled up into a ball and it stayed under water for forever.  When I brought it up expecting to see it dead, it got out of the water and walked away.  Connor and I were like, “OH MY GOSH! THE THING IS STILL ALIVE!”  We dried off and came back to the house.

As part of the construction of the house we plan to fix the lights.  Out of out three ceiling fan lights, only one works because Daddy and I  fixed it.  What happens is, whenever the fan is on with the light on.  The fan shakes the light and makes the light not always touch the cords it needs to touch.

We are still training the dog to use the bathroom in the right places, but other than that he knows to sit when told, like down when told, and he also knows how to shake your hand when told, “shake”.  At the pool he will not jump to get something unless he is told to.  He will also never climb up the stairs in our house.  We let 1 Samuel outside a lot.  Any time we see him he is almost always fighting a lizard.  Sometimes the lizard will rear up and bight 1 Samuel on the lip or on the paw and the cat screams.  It is really funny.  But the cat always wins the real war.  Now 2 Samuel is a whole different story.  2 Samuel is the one who lies around all day or eats all day.  He loves to be loved on.  He rarely ever goes outside and when he does he is confused like, “how did I get out here?”  1st Samuel is still my favorite though.

Every night since I have gotten home Daddy and I have been watching a show called the Civil war.  It is a great movie and it also has some humor in it.  When ever we are done watching a part of it I start to teach Daddy how to play on the PS2.  I am also trying to learn not to yank the controller out of someone’s hand and say, “Here I show you how to do it!”  Right now I am going to give you a description about my new game.  It is called Need for Speed Underground 2.  The part that I like about it is that it is not just a racing game.  It is also a game on how good you can get your car to look.  You can put neon glow under your car and in your engine and also in the trunk.  In the back of your car you can put a huge stereo system.  The neon lights are there to light this part up.  It is really cool looking.  But I am not this far in the game just quite yet, but I am getting closer.  You can also put hydraulics and spinners on your car.  You can change the color of your lights and stuff.  You can put body kits, custom mirrors, spoilers and all types of things on your car.  This game goes into every thing.  You can even paint your brakes!  You can also get SUV’s in this game, which is really cool.  Then there is the racing part.  The further you get in the races the more sponsors you get and upgrades for your car or truck.  And yes, you can get sponsors like the people that make street glow lights and the nitrous oxide companies.  That is all I am going to tell you about this game so let’s move on.  I am now practicing my instruments again but my drums are not ready yet.  We got new drum heads to put on my drums.  I practiced piano about 30 minutes and my clarinet about 15.  I am going to start to learn how to play the saxophone soon.

Paul Sims one of Daddies friends has finally sent the information on how to hook up our AC, so we can’t wait to do that.  Two units are for down stairs and then we have two more units that are going to go in the attic to cool the up stairs.  We will be so happy when it is installed.  We have just started school this Tuesday and it has been swell so far.  Yesterday we got done at 2:00 and today at 2:30.  I have already relearned a lot.  Because I have gotten done early I have had time to play, for as last year I did not.  We also have Daddy’s new lap top to have down stairs for school work.  There is a Spanish program on the laptop I will play like, every other day.  It is really cool.  Every Thursday from now on we will be having prayer night and some friends of mine will be coming with there parents.  I will normally play with them while the adults do there thing.  It should be really fun.  The Shed it looking a lot better.  We are finally going to get good doors for our built in cabinets.  All the nail holes are getting filled in and the lights all finally all working right.  Daddy gave me a surprise gift when I got back from Texas.  It was a brand new base ball glove that fits.  I can’t wait to play pitch with Daddy or Connor.

To end this very very very long journal I will tell you the next few things I will want to buy at the store.  I want to get lots of D Batteries for my hot-wheel tracks and the Hot-Wheels V-Drop which is a nine foot high track that then goes straight down with a jump at the end.  I want to get a smoke machine and lots of black lights for my room.  I want to also get an Xbox and an Ipod Nano.  And now I am done with the longest journal entry in my life.
