In
March of this year, Tom and Roxie were appointed as full time
missionaries with Calvary International. Calvary is a missions agency
focused on mobilizing the local church; training, sending and serving
missionaries. Calvary offers a proven track to the mission field to
individuals who long to fulfill the Great Commission. |

 Without
even a listing, God provided a buyer for our favorite vehicle.
Initiating the delivery festivities for the 1968 Corvette to its new
owner in a special way, Tom taught Troupe how to drive this
classic muscle car with its 4-speed manual transmission. Troupe did a
fantastic job and the car remained in one piece. The new
owner was none the wiser. ;-) |

| Dear
Friend,
This
is our first Newsletter. However, this is the first of many more to
come. Let me start by setting something straight. It is an honor and a
privilege for us to know that you are reading this right now. As many
of you know we are responding to God's call to serve Him as
overseas missionaries. Even now we are in the process of building
our financial and prayer support team and God is blessing these
efforts. In this issue we want to touch on just some of what
that call has been affecting, as we are being made effective
for Jesus Christ. |

Thailand Trip
Tom is gearing up to go to Thailand for the last two weeks in
October. He will be meeting with the Calvary International Team members
there for the first time in Asia. The purpose of this trip is
to "scout out the land" so as to bring further clarity to the
vision that God has been illuminating in our hearts. We believe we
will be working in Thailand by next year. |
Lone Star Landing
We (Tom and Roxie) traveled to Texas late this summer. Originally the trip was to attend a Bill Gothard Seminar,
but was extended so that we could share with family and friends in
the DFW metroplex. We were able to tell our story to only twelve of the
seventy families we had on our hearts to share with. As the days passed
by quickly we had to admit that there is simply not enough time to do
all that we want to do. We'll be back, Ya'll. |

Will Work For Food
We have been working on an addition to our home in preparation for
its new owners (whoever they may be). It was a long deliberation as to
whether or not to proceed with the planned work, but after much prayer
it was decided to do the job.
There
is still much work to be done to complete this two storied improvement
to our 1927 home. We are confident that the incorporation of the
laundry room into the house (and out of the detached garage) will make
the house much more appealing. There are many other simultaneous
improvements being achieved. | |
|
It is our desire that we bless you by creating an opportunity for you to reach the nations for Jesus though us.
Grace and Peace,
Tom & Roxie McLeod
